The number of hours you spend sleeping is said to have an effect on your overall mood. Sleep is, therefore, necessary to ensure you stick to the required eight hours of sleep. Spending more or less than the recommended hours may have an impact on your mood which is not something to look forward to.

This is, however, something you can always do on your own if you really want to overcome depression. Multiple exercises are used for relaxation purposes such as yoga which are known for reducing stress and enhancing mood.
